Firewood

Oak

Oak firewood is a dense wood product that puts out the highest BTU’s (heat) in the area. Oak will not produce a lot of roaring flames due to the density. It is a slow burn with a lot of heat production.

Cherry

Cherry firewood has a distinct maroon/reddish color. Cherry is a moderate to high producing BTU (heat). Cherry has gained popularity due to the sweet aroma it produces.

Mixed Hardwoods

The Mixed Hardwood is the most popular selling product in the Chicagoland area due to the economic value for the quantity received. Triple H Mulch and Firewood combines Oak, Cherry, Maple, Hickory and Walnut to produce a quality mixed hardwood. Mixed Hardwood is a great combination to provide BTU’s (heat) as well as keep the fire going with little work.
